Production meeting for @academicaunties will be happening in thirty minutes! Excited to plan this season, starting with episode 40 (!!!)!
I finally got my author's copies of "Care activism"! This book looks at migrant domestic worker activism, arguing that migrant domestic workers sought not only policy changes & material improvements to their lives but also created spaces of care for each other and their families. This book took me from 2009 to 2020 to write & covers activism in Canada and in transnational spaces!
