@cdarwin it's actually his pattern of speech. He's locked himself into a never-ending pattern of deferral of external costs elsewhere while he promises that everything revolves around him. His speech operates on the pre-semantic level, where it defines before the conversation even takes place, who is an agent, and who gets to speak and be heard, etc... It's pure narcissism on autopilot.

I guess the world is learning the same lesson I did when dealing with narcissists. It sure is a nasty thing to watch and not be able to do anything about.
