1. Australia consistently has the highest per capita adoption rate globally, with over one third of all households now having rooftop solar, totalling more than four million installations.

Australia's main electricity grid, the NEM, will soon have 40GW/113GWh of storage (not including Snowy2.0).
That's enough storage to power the grid for about 4.5hrs at average demand of ~25GW.
Those of you who follow my weekly renewable simulations will know that it assumes 24GW/120GWh of storage, and is running at 98.5% renewable over the last 4+ years.
Thus, within just a handful of years, the NEM will have enough storage to achieve ~98% renewable supply.
