I noticed Steam was working on Wayland...too well. This was because I wasn't using the official Nvidia drivers yet.

Now Steam works as expected (please valve get off of xwayland)

So my desktop no longer has Arch on it. NixOS is now on my good M.2 drive and I will be daily driving it.
Really the only issue I'm dealing with right now is GPG is refusing to open the pinentry program. At first it hard errored, but now it just does this:

I forgot to give an update on this.

Was able to update my BIOS, but then the dashboard wouldn't boot. I was able to use a temporary dash from a dvd I burned with the Xbox Softmod Extra Disc. After trying out one dash and layer switching to another, I landed on one I enjoyed (UnleashX).

Another thing: Replaced the hard drive with a spare 1tb ssd and upgraded the fan to be ultra quite. Now the thing makes barely any noise. You can slightly hear the fan and that's about it. My graphics card on my desktop is louder than this entire console now.
