A solar firm in Minnesota is suing Google for defamation after the tech giant's shoddy AI Overviews feature allegedly made up wild lies about the company — and significantly hurt its business as a result.
"This lawsuit is not just about defending our company's reputation; it's about standing up for fairness, truth, and accountability in the age of artificial intelligence," Nicholas Kasprowicz, general counsel for the solar company, Wolf River Electric, said.

Kind of bummed that #google is rumored to be canceling the #pixel #tablet. Admittedly I don't own one and the first generation was flawed. LCD, no video output or first party keyboard. Nest functionality seem to have baked at least from what I saw.
But I do love the idea of docking a tablet you're not using. My #samsung tab S7 and Lenovo duet often feel like they could be doing something when I'm not using them.
I hope someone else adopts the idea. I guess #Amazon has the show mode.
Trying to transition away from private for-profit online communication. Reddit is a complete cesspool with moderators and absurd rules and ridiculous auto moderation. Terrible CEO that ruined the third party apps.
Twitter is even worse, for obvious reasons. Haven't used Facebook in years and don't even think I can log in. It was connected to an old school email (I was on Facebook back when only college people could use it).
Mastadon maybe smaller but so it goes.
