I hate to admit this but our feelings on certain things really do change as we get older. 10 years ago, I would have preferred to get a new video game instead of an engagement ring but now that I'm older, I would prefer to get a domesticated raccoon instead of an engagement ring.

Ugh, these new Twitter refugees are ruining the place for long-standing community members like me who have been here for ten days.

🏠 Home: Which has your posts and the people you follow

πŸ§‘β€πŸ€β€πŸ§‘ Local: Which has posts from people on your instance.

🌎 Federated: Which has posts from across the fediverse (other instances). They are mostly follows of all of the people on your instance but there's a few more thrown in for good measure.

My mom had a life changing stroke at 63. She’s now has wernicke's aphasia, which affects her communication and memory. When she was moved from her apartment at the head injury society back into the hospital, I took this plant home with me. It was half dead then but today it bloomed πŸ’œ
Twitter right now be like the last day of summer camp with everyone crying and exchanging contact info
