Head twist: How do #ActivityPub server implementations like Mastodon not understand that account transfer means the whole digital content related to an account, not just selected pieces.

Analogy: This is operating like old school bank accounts where followers are direct debits and who you follow are standing orders. Your content (transactions) don’t move to your new bank but you have statements (export of data).

It’s digital and data plus 2023. We can do so much better. Wander pondering.

Funny how easy it is to make the world a better place. Even for something as simple as a rain catcher. The concept has already moved to the 3D draft. When I find a moment of free time, I will refine the model, and when the filament arrives, I will create the first prototype. And maybe even for fun, I'll file a patent application. Yes, there are many patents for this type of design. Either way, mine will be the best and most effective of course :)

@[email protected] @mekkaokereke I have two big HEPA air filter machines (one downstairs, one upstairs) as well as a particulate monitor. The filter machines were running on their highest setting during the California fires. I had to wear noise-cancelling headphones to sleep.

Saw someone asking if #Reddit had an API to export your own data.

I couldn't find an easy way to do that, but they do have an easy to use #GDPR form at:
https://www.reddit.com/settings/data-request

I filled it in and got these CSVs a few days later.
