Announcements for the "Some Disassembly Required" channel on YouTube, which features videos of cool stuff that I chance upon, and usually take apart.

My videos focus mainly on #electronics, especially #receivers, #speakers, and #AudioAmplifiers, but also include #diy, #repurposing and #repair.

#Thrifting tip: #BluRay, #DVD, and #CD players are plentiful and cheap in thrift stores, because in the era of streaming, the supply of used digital media players FAR exceeds demand.

Here's a short #video about an extreme example:

#Thrifting tip: before you buy any common at-home #medical equipment at a medical supply store, check your local #ThriftStore.

For example, I just bought some very nice crutches for cheap:

Here's my latest video, which is a quick review of a pair of #PolkAudio Monitor Series 2 #speakers that I picked up at a thrift store. I was really surprised by what I heard!

"Some Disassembly Required" is a #YouTube channel that I created about three years ago to look inside various electronics which I chance upon, usually from #Thrifting or #EstateSales.

I usually disassemble things to discover and demonstrate how they work. I also sometimes repurpose things or do reviews.

This is a low-volume account that I will use primarily to announce my new videos and related projects. Please follow it if you're interested in my channel.
