@w7voa And what does NEEN mean?
I live in a country, ostensibly run by adults, where a major political party can't decide whether it's Mickey Mouse or Barbie that poses the greater threat.
Shame on the Israeli Parliament for passing laws stripping their courts of power to block government decisions. This anti-democratic action sends the country down a dark path, indeed.
Not gonna lie. I like how Mastodon does voting.

It is now painfully clear that no local government, state or federal agency, or other civic institution should be using Twitter for any purpose other than directing people to alternative platforms.

Using the platform for anything other than a last ditch backup for any kind of emergency communication is clearly a disaster waiting to happen.

@MonaApp I need a shortcut for this? Where do I find that? I don’t see ‘Advanced Settings and Shortcuts’ or Adjust Settings. I do have 5.4.4 & Mona Pro Max.

Pro tip for casual #Mastodon users: Follow #Russia / #Putin / #wagner and other to stay updated.

Unfollow them later if you want.

Reddit's CEO keeps making inapt, inept, and ignorant analogies to describe its users -- especially the moderators, volunteers who have spent countless hours making the site's communities so valuable.

Here's an accurate analogy: Reddit regards these people as replaceable cogs in a machine owned and absolutely controlled by the company.

I won't use Reddit again unless the top management, and its attitudes, are replaced -- with a genuine community focus.

Meanwhile, I'm finding alternatives.
