Lovely to be back in the pool with the #Triathlon club this morning!
This happened while I was away last month! I weighed in at a different group local to where I was staying and got my 1 stone award, I'm now only 3lb away from my 1.5 stone award. Hurrah! 🎉🎉🎉

Really fun swim training session with #IpswichTriathlonClub this morning, focusing on streamlining breathing and really getting used to minimal extra head rotation to improve efficiency.

Lots of water up my nose and in my mouth but I'm getting the hang of it finally!

Did a timed 300m warm up swim which came out at just over 7 minutes, so might have to revise my expected swim time for the sprint triathlon in the summer!

Testing out the new trisuit, new helmet and my cycling glasses before using them in anger!

Suit will take a bit of getting used to as it's got a lot less padding than my bib shorts, and the helmet is great but haven't quite got it dialed in for comfort quite yet, needs a bit more tweaking!

Loving the TrainingPeaks Virtual visuals and especially the super handy little tick that tells you how many of each interval you've completed, so simple but so helpful!

This flute player is very excited by this latest gadget, it's a bluetooth pedal which allows you to turn the pages of your music forward (right) or back (left).

Already tried it out and it's super awesome, will take a bit of getting used to with longer and more complex pieces but will also help me keep up when I'm reading composer scores listening to orchestral pieces for inspiration!
Well hello there, little flowering cactus!

This plant was a tiny cutting from a friend's plant which was a cutting from her friend's mum's plant, still going strong many years later despite my best efforts (not the best with house plants!)

Super fun coached swim session with the Ipswich Triathlon Club this morning followed by coffee at the Suffolk Food Hall and then a trip into town to drop my bike off for some TLC and to pick my birthday present from the fella, a replacement helmet for my 15+ year old one (apparently you're meant to replace them every 3-5 years, whoops!)

Now to do battle with the garden!
