Got up this morning with a list of tasks I wanted/needed to do before I left the house today. It did not include staring out the kitchen window for 45 minutes watching a flock of robins (plus a few sparrows, starlings, and the seasons 1st junco āŗļø) going to town on the berry-like cones of my cedar tree. It was an absolute pleasure.
The cedar is nearly 20ā tall, and it came up as a volunteer 15-18years ago. Cardinals, robins, and wrens nest in it every year. Iād love to have at least 6 more.
