Triggering topics discussed: the loss of my child to long covid; current struggle with orthorexia

So if I need an outpatient surgery and don't have anybody who could stay at the appointment and take me home as required by the doctor, is my only option to go without the surgery? Or do most facilities have some sort of liability waiver I can sign that absolves them of any legal blame if I travel home alone/without care? #NEISvoid #disability #disabled
When Bebe Rexha said "I found no cure for the loneliness, I found no cure for the sickness, nothing here feels like home, crowded streets but I'm all alone", I really felt that shit
I just realized today marks a year of being in my current apartment. One year since I moved out of the place where I had to deal with countless traumas - chemical gas seeping into my living room during protests downtown, being watched by cops parked outside my apartment building, the death of my child, and many more horrors. My mental health is still pretty awful, and it'll likely always be that way, but at least it's more manageable. That wouldn't be the case if I was still in my old apartment.
Capitalism ruins us.
If, starting tomorrow, you never had to work again a single day in your life, and had enough money to do just about anything you wanted, and everyone else was also in the same position, what would you do? Feel free to add your own options in comments/boost 🙂

I got my holter monitor today. The adhesive is a sensory hell 😭
I've been worried about health stuff a lot lately. My thyroid function has gone down and I potentially have a new autoimmune problem. The doctor is redoing bloodwork in 3 months to check again. My blood pressure has been low and my pulse has been high. And I have to do a holter monitor test for my heart. I'm very nervous about this, but incredibly grateful to have a medical team that's actually taking me seriously after so many years of being dismissed.
If you can't handle me at my "honk shoo", you don't deserve me at my "mi mi mi mi"
It's been more than a decade and I'm still angry at my high school teacher who punished me for struggling with fine motor skills lol. She would make me and the other kid with bad handwriting (the only other visibly ND kid in the class) review each other's essay drafts and wouldn't let us type instead of writing by hand. People like that should never ever become teachers (or work with kids in any capacity tbh)
