@davespice Wow that is a shitty game... You don't even reach the flag at the end and you dont pick up the stars you pass. Why even include them? Oo
Also the "This is all made possible by intelectual property" line made me so angry.
Fuck 'em.
Fuck 'em from the front, from behind, sideways, 24/7, all month, all year, all routes.

We appreciate the passion of our community; however, the decision to discontinue online services is multi-faceted, never taken lightly and must be an option for companies when an online experience is no longer commercially viable. We understand that it can be disappointing for players but, when it does happen, the industry ensures that players are given fair notice of the prospective changes in compliance with local consumer protection laws. Private servers are not always a viable alternative option for players as the protections we put in place to secure players’ data, remove illegal content, and combat unsafe community content would not exist and would leave rights holders liable. In addition, many titles are designed from the ground-up to be online-only; in effect, these proposals would curtail developer choice by making these video games prohibitively expensive to create. We welcome the opportunity to discuss our position with policy makers and those who have led the European Citizens Initiative in the coming months. Sorry, we designed the game so it wont work for you so we are absolutely powerless to make it work for you.
@hellpie Totally agree. I meant in general, if they told me they have absolutely no other time to eat because of anything, I wouldnt mind.
In this case it was a stupid "power move". Or just extremely rude.
I actually chaned jobs recently and considered canonical. Glad I didnt apply.
@hellpie @0xabad1dea What you described is the absolute max. I had multiple companies do the following:
1 phonecall, very short screening and schedule an interview.
1 general motivation, background, experiences etc interview.
If you both like it so far, 1 technical interview.
After that offer or no offer. Any more is bullshit.
Maybe some homework to analyze together on the technical interview is fine.
I'm not so harsh on eating. If they communicate it well (they have no time), i dont mind.
