New York is contemplating a bill that adds surveillance to 3D printers: New York’s 20262027 executive budget bill (S.9005 / A.10005) includes language that should alarm every maker, educator, and small manufacturer in the state. Buried in Part C is a provision requiring all 3D printers sold or delivered in New York to include “blocking technology.” This is defined as software or firmware that scans every print file through a “firearms blueprint detection algorithm” and refuses to print anything it flags as a potential firearm or firearm component...

@MelissaBearTrix That's because in any decent country the "Non-Prosecution - Agreement" against #Epstein is null and void and the statue of limitations for sexual abuse of minors is oftentimes decades because most perpertrators ain't "Strangers" like Jeffrey Epstein but rather close contacts if not blood-related family members and the victims hmoften take years way into adulthood until they have access to support networks and resources to even file charges.

If anything, the #EpsteinFiles showed that #Laws only apply to the #poor and that #Justice doesn't exist!

Just like with #Governments, #Corporations only follow the rules that are being enforced against their will!

That's why #penalties like in #GDPR, are a sick joke as #US - #Corporations will just calculate those in as "business expenditures" and continue violating, whilst also writung it off on their #tax & #SEC filings.

If the penalty fir a crime is a fine, it's only illegal for the poor!

Really applies here…
