Wow. This email from a UK hospital instructs healthcare workers not to test for COVID because it might keep them out of work for longer. What happened to "do no harm"?

I discovered this while completing a winter risk assessment for the care home in work at.
They go even further by saying it is only considered to be an outbreak if they are proved to be "linked cases" ie transfered between each other in the home... Regardless of how many cases. That's fucked...
covid guidance for care homes, It's very obvious that the government are trying to skew the numbers so infection stats are low.
They explicitly state to not do covid tests even with symptoms present unless they are clinically extremely vulnerable. And it says two or more positive cases with asymptomatic individuals no longer classed as an outbreak. Even it an outbreak is suspected they state that you should not test the whole home.
