Re watching Star Trek: The next generation for the first time as an adult
I love how Riker immediately challenges Captain Kirk's tendency to go on away missions. I guess the show runners feel that the captain's place is on the ship

Any dog owners know anything good to help with itchy paws? Usually one specific paw is bothering her
@steveHampson been my first time watching rugby league
I've really enjoyed it and I was surprised how easy it is to follow
With this ridiculously yellow coat Maya is finally brave enough to walk in the rain, was even wagging her tail. I don't know if it is common for a #Dachshund but she seemed terrified of the rain!
@jeeger thanks. Just played a few games with my partner and we had a great laugh
I played the chameleon first turn which has sneak "So you can steal this"
"Why would I want a weak ass 1 damage chameleon"
Three turns later she is dead because she could not block the chameleon.
The titular mindbugs sure add to the mind games don't they
And she got revenge in the end, won the set aha
@jeeger yeah love the design
I'm looking into some extra card packs. Do they get added to the base deck or are they standalone?
Picked up this game #Mindbug from one of the creators of #MagicTheGathering apparently! Just one deck to shuffle and work with, not a collectable card game
@luckytran I posted earlier today about how guidance for care homes is to specifically NOT test for covid even if symptoms are present, unless the person is extremely vulnerable. Also 2 or more positive asymptomatic cases are not an outbreak. AND it is only an outbreak if you can confirm that cases are linked, ie were transferred between residents of the home and not an outside source, regardless of how many positive cases.
So obviously they are skewing the numbers. Corrupt as hell!
Wow. This email from a UK hospital instructs healthcare workers not to test for COVID because it might keep them out of work for longer. What happened to "do no harm"?
(Source: Prof. Stephen Griffin)
I discovered this while completing a winter risk assessment for the care home in work at.
They go even further by saying it is only considered to be an outbreak if they are proved to be "linked cases" ie transfered between each other in the home... Regardless of how many cases. That's fucked...
