I'll be using a virtual journey from Jefferson City, MO to Emmetsburg, IA (my hometown) to visualize how many miles I've ridden on the Katy Trail in Missouri. Stay tuned to the various pages to keep up with my journey.

When I was a child, my mother died of a bone cancer called multiple myeloma. She participated in early chemotherapy trials to develop more efficacious anti-cancer drugs with fewer side effects. Her selflessness inspired me to become a cancer researcher. Now, I volunteer for the American Cancer Society. I serve on my state board, and I fund raise by riding my bike on the Katy Trail in Missouri. You can watch snippets and outtakes of my fundraising rides on this channel.
