I've been road testing the new Addi Unicorn circular needles.
Lots of fun to use and I love the flexible, no-memory cable. I haven't tried yet but I think they would be fab for cabling.

Addi Unicorn circular needles: A Review — Louise Tilbrook Designs

With the bright pink cable and the shiny, spiral grooved tips these new needles from Addi are hard to miss, so when they crossed my social media feed a few days ago I immediately wanted to snag a set for myself. (This is not a paid advert feature - I bought the needles myself and haven’t been aske

Current #knitting project: a yoked jumper, Icelandic-style, using plötulopi (unspun dyed Icelandic wool). I’ve just started on the first of the sleeves. #Lopapeysa
A small post of my current #WIP #Knitting to see how to attach a photograph. This is a hat, the pattern is TinCanKnits Embers. I will be making a matchy jumper once the hat is done.

Sleeve island, Sleeve Island! Well, I ended up attaching a remainder of another ball of yarn. It's getting exciting whether I can finish the sleeves without getting a new ball of this yarn 😬

I'm going to share what is probably the simplest, and yet most time consuming, lesson in learning a new skill.

"How are your lines so neat?"
Practice.

"How can you hold a pen so steady?"
Practice.

"How do you get everything so symmetrical?"
Practice.

"How do you come up with all the different patterns?"
Practice.

When I first started drawing, and after a few years of doing it.

Stick with it. Like any skill, practice leads to improvement. If you love doing it, keep going.

Anyone looking for #knitting or #crochet... try following @fiberarts... I have found so many interesting people to follow there already...

By the way I mostly #crochet... with occasional #sewing projects... or other crafts that take my fancy...

Wrote a big long post on my #knitting blog that's more about organizing my thoughts about change than about my projects, but I did share pictures of the newest pair of socks and a couple of other projects: https://whitknits.wordpress.com/2022/11/07/discombobulated/

Here’s what the Joy Mitts look like today. Had to rip mitt 2 back to the cuff last night after I realized I’d done the thumb increases wrong. Oh, #knitting. Keeps me humble :)
