Just finished the final and third season of #HisDarkMaterials.
Knowing the books, and having wiped away my tears, I can say that this was everything I had ever dreamed of in terms of film adaptation. A subversive, actually unfilmable masterpiece of (young adult?) literature has been transformed into a stunning, creative, beautiful and accurate TV series that is brave enough to just do everything right. Thank you.
Now please have the same team adapt the Book Of Dust trilogy. 🖤 🧭🔪🔭
To Plymothians heading to the right to roam protest on Dartmoor this Saturday: please do not drive if possible as there is almost no parking space in Cornwood.

It doesn't get talked about much, but certain people hold a deep, deep hatred for autistic women. Read the anti-Greta commenters on Twitter and you'll see what I mean. We don't line up with people's ideas about what autism is 'supposed' to look like or how a woman is 'supposed' to be.
Nearly 90% of autistic women have been sexually assaulted. We're more likely to experience domestic violence, and up to 13x more likely to die from suicide (Hirvikoski 2018).
Those findings indicate a very large proportion of victims of sexual assault among autistic women, consistently with previous research.
