Every year I find a book I talk about with every soul I encounter. Nine days in, I’ve found it. Dandelion by Jamie Chai Yun Liew is masterful. Gorgeous, heartbreaking, hopeful, and hard, every Canadian (and everyone) should read it.

I picked it up because of the cover, so kudos to Jazmin Welch, Ophelia Liew, and Arsenal Pulp Press for creating a stunning design.

My fingers are crossed that it will be celebrated widely. Big, resounding recommendation from me 👏🏼👏🏽🦁
