It’s a Doctor Who Canada Day tradition!

It seems it's not just ICE anymore. Now we may have bounty hunters kidnapping people. Certainly we have unidentified, armed thugs kidnapping people off the street and putting them in warehouses unless they agree to "voluntarily" leave the country.

I'm sorry, but I'm going there. This situation deserves an armed community response. Locate her via her cell phone, arrive in force, and free the hostages.

And yeah, because someone will eventually make a comment, if these Medicaid cuts stick, my little doc group will cut wages, cut benefits, and probably have to lay off some ER docs. Medicaid pays us about $75 a visit. “Self pay” pays around $25 on average (that number goes down dramatically when the economy sucks). I will probably be fine, and I work four jobs, but young docs with huge loans are fucked.

Nobody is talking about the gophers taking down the Comcast internet connections. You would think that this would be big news.

Hope nobody thought they were gonna buy fresh produce this fall. We’re spending your tax dollars to pay prison contractors to build prisons for hundreds of thousands of people. Nobody will be there to plant, weed, water, and harvest. Oh, and when they finish with immigrants, the prison machine will need bodies in those beds to keep making a profit. Who do you think will be in the camps?
