@Spackles @Jeffgodofbiscuits @covercash @gruber Exactly. I have an Android fanboy friend who gets upset over iMessage. Back when it was launched as I recall carriers still charged for texts so it was valuable then, but now it’s at most a nice thing but I dont care about it.
BTW, all one has to do is look at the PC market to see how little innovation there is. No reason to think Apple is somehow dampening innovation. The whole thing is dumb.

@gruber Why do you think the DOJ has filed this case? Unlike say Windows in the 1990s, I can’t think of a single product that Apple sells that I couldnt easily switch to if I wanted to. Switching to Android or Windows would be no more painful if as painful for me than switching to Apple from Windows was for me 20 years ago.
@covercash @gruber Is there a good case for the green bubbles thing? Is anyone buying an iPhone for the blue bubbles? If Android had iMessage and Apple didn’t I wouldn’t care at all, and I certainly wouldn’t switch phones because of that.
