I swear, take down the gravy train to clean and refill it for like 5 seconds and this is what happens! #hummingbird

So we added a new cam on the side of the house earlier this week for coverage of the driveway and garage so we can see when deliveries arrive are left by the garage door.

Late last night it captured this. This is not us, and there was nothing delivered last night. This is also not in the driveway but right up leading to the side door of our home. Quite spooky to say the least.

May have to get a motion sensor light installed over there. Very disconcerting.

For those of you who enjoy small acts of kindness:

A few days ago, I went to a photographer to get new ID photos after starting my transition.

His job was simply to take the official pictures and send me on my way.

After taking the passport photos, he looked at me and asked:

“Are these your first photos as a woman?”

I smiled and said, “Yes.”

He paused for a moment and said:

“That’s not acceptable. You’re not allowed to smile in passport photos. It can’t be right that you don’t smile in the first photos of your new life.”

Then he asked me to look back into the camera and smile.

He took a few more portraits, printed three large photos for me, handed them to me, and said:

“These are your first photos as a woman. Take them. Consider these a gift”

I nearly cried.

Sometimes people don’t realize how much a small gesture can mean to someone else. 💜🏳️‍⚧️
