I finally got resolution on that broken Pelikan M405 #fountainpen that I asked about in early December. As of today, a new, functional pen in inked up and scribbling perfectly! It was a long journey, but the big things are:
1. Pelikan's North American warranties and returns are now handled by Coles of London, as of last October.
2. JetPens is a great retailer to work with!

Quick update. It's a Sunday, but I already got a response from TWSBI requesting my shipping address and a PayPal payment of $7 USD for shipping, and then confirmation that the payment had been received and shipping info will be posted tomorrow. Color me impressed!

My TWSBI Vac 700R fell victim to the resin cracks that TWSBI pens are known for. The pen is just barely two years old, and has always been in a case when not in active use. I'll let y'all know if their customer service is as good as I've heard!

I could use a bit of #followerpower for this one. I happen to have this decades old #clarinet but I know nothing about it. It seems to be some older german (böhm) system but with only four rings, is that rare? If some #music nerd can tell me what this design is called and where to find a chart on how to play each note that would be amazing.

Neither can do #percent_arithmetic, eg "x(1+0.2)" for "x+20%" (latter works as I want|expect on "Calculator"/iOS application by Apple corp & "PCalc Lite"/iOS by TLA Systems Ltd).

fx-9750Giii does not even have a percent key|function, or was not able to find one. Fear not, for Casio BASIC is there to write a program, tediously; did.

My new Dalvey Half Hunter Pocket Watch in Cerulean Blue. It has a 17-crystal Sea-Gull movement, and after doing some digging I think it is the ST3600K. It seems to lose about a minute a day, but watching it is mesmerizing, and it adds a lovely amount of heft to a waistcoat pocket.

I've been carrying a Relic Folio with quartz movement for more than thirty years, but the numbers have started coming off of the dial. I figured it was time for a new one, and this is a gorgeous device!
