@JakeSparkleChicken When I wanted Casio to support #percent_arithmetic, I did not mean like that!

So, for input of "x+r%" #Casio_fx115W does "100(x+r)/r".

Per its manual https://support.casio.com/pdf/004/fx115W_991W_E.pdf (p E-13), for "x(1+r%)" calculation, input is "xr % +"; could get used to I suppose. Thanks for the note about it.

fx-9750Giii is from the same lineage of fx-{7700,9850G}.

... Con of #Casio_fx9750Giii, #Casio_fx9910CW is that multiplication in function definition is not implicit.

Neither can do #percent_arithmetic, eg "x(1+0.2)" for "x+20%" (latter works as I want|expect on "Calculator"/iOS application by Apple corp & "PCalc Lite"/iOS by TLA Systems Ltd).

fx-9750Giii does not even have a percent key|function, or was not able to find one. Fear not, for Casio BASIC is there to write a program, tediously; did.

The Rise Of Fake Casio Scientific Calculators

Scientific calculators are an amazing invention that take pocket calculators from being merely basic arithmetic machines to being pocket computers that can handle everything from statistics to alge…

Hackaday

My original function calculator from college calculus. Still working as originally intended after 30 years.

Really miss my Casio FX-85GTX calculator. I'd get another but they're so expensive compared to the newer (substandard) versions: Β£40 to Β£80 on eBay and Amazon.

The screen on my Casio FX-991ES Plus is not up to standard for my ageing eyes and the keys are feeling their age too.

More from my vintage Casio Personal M-1 Calculator reconditioning after a bunch of cleaning partly because of the alkaline battery leakage that leaked very badly, that luckily won't get all the way into the PCB, but there were some crystallized acid pieces inside the case all the way underneath the VFD (vacuum fluorescent) display I managed to get rid of the mess that the leakage caused.

The Casio Personal M-1 calculator had some damaged traces on it's PCB that needed to be replaced with some wires, but before that I have scraped with an exacto knife the damaged parts of the traces and prepared a small amount to be able to solder on the wires into. It was definitely repaired before by someone, there was one trace that was replaced with some kynar wire.

Finally I have found my vintage calculator that I have searched for years around the house that needed badly to be cleaned and repaired. I have found it in the attic the poor thing have been in ruff shape after it was exposed to extreme heat and cold up there. To make thing worst I forgot to take the two AA alkaline batteries off that I have put into them years before to test it out to see if it turns on and it did.
