@georgetakei during this bit, Chappelle wasn't making fun of Lil Nas X. He was pointing out that LNX was a dreamer, someone with lofty goals who wouldn't let anyone stop him. The joke was that people don't recognize the accomplishments of those like LNX in the same way they do with Chappelle himself.
“I know a dreamer when I see one, and I’ve met many powerful dreamers in my life,” he said, “none more powerful than a man who calls himself Lil Nas X.”
@Teri_Kanefield If it helps; reading your legal takes, gives me the tools to calm down my friends and family. You're a qualified expert who doesn't stand to gain from rage bait. You also qualify your opinions and explain your reasoning in a way an untrained but curious individual can understand.
Perhaps you could have someone screen the comments & questions for you?
@craig @nuthaven Keep in mind, Musk doesn't build (or design) electric cars and rockets. He doesn't even manage the people who are doing those things. He's managing those companies, which is complex in many of the same ways twitter's current human problems are complex.
He brands himself as an engineer, but his work history shows he's more like a wish.com Steve Jobs.
