I am a very itchy demon. You can find me on The Mana World. I am also a mapper on Open Street Maps and a Linux-using privacy obsessive and technophobe.
A request for my fellow #PotterHeads : Please stop making a big deal out of Papaa Essiedu being cast as Snape in a book-faithful adaptation. Snape is never explicity defined as white. I can certainly understand the concern for certain aspects of the story potentially coming off as racist, and there are some real discussions to be had there, but please stop pretending that Snape's skin color was ever explicitly defined in the books. #HarryPotter #HarryPotterHBO
Oh, and they might refuse to respond to multiple requests for help over two months after sending you a singular e-mail telling you that just those three things are suspicious activity violating their terms of service, despite them being required by their terms of service.
When you create an account on #Uber , you might get banned due to "suspicious activity" that violates their terms of service. Shocking, I know. But apparently it is suspicious to create an account, add a debit card you own that has the same name as the one you put on your account, and add a cell phone number that they verify is yours by making you enter a six-digit code they "text" or call you.
@Parker51 I know she has spoken out against transgenderism, but this is the first time I heard she is actively opposing it rather than simply expressing her views. While I don't support her views, I don't condemn them either. I would suggest looking at her comments regarding UK Court Ruling and Paapa Essiedu's views on trans rights. I'm not trying to defend her views, but to my eyes, it appears that she doesn't actively hate trans people, even if she is opposed to their views.
@Parker51 Not obvious to me.
@RantingCanuck Some people choose to separate art from artist and focus on the magic and the message of acceptance while ignoring the author. That said, "Mega Mind" is one of my go-to movies; I identify quite well with Mega Mind and what he experienced from the moment he landed on this cursed planet.
The Lamy Safari needs no review since seemingly everyone has one. I dislike the Safari's design and think of it as overrated, but this one looks kinda cool. (I may not like them, Minister, but I can't deny: this Safari's got style!) As for the ink, it is Diamine Forever Passion Flower and is a near-perfect match for the pen. It is the first ink outside the Noodler's line that I plan to keep in regular rotation. #FountainPen #FountainPens #HarryPotter #FountainPenInk #FountainPenInks #Lamy
@avatastic As a Harry Potter fan and proud member of Ravenclaw house, I fail to see the issue.
@unattributed Currently, my "top three brands" are all Noodlers. Most of what I use my pens for requires permanence, and a few things require fraud resistance that, to my knowledge, is lacking in other permanent inks. Since I don't need to refill my pens often enough to remember what they have, I find it easiest just to use same set of inks. If I didn't need permanence or fraud resistance, I would explore other inks -- some of the Diamine and Colorverse inks seem interesting.
I have a request for #Google for their #Youtube app for the #NintendoSwitch : Instead of making the the UI worse, perhaps they could, at long last, focus on fixing bugs? I know software development is hard, but bug fixing is part of that, and has been since long before 2018...
