@Gargron While I wish I could just pickup and leave. I wonder how many people feel the same way. I'm already seeing changes in FB. Last night I went to get information to respond to a post about the Eagles victory yesterday. FB refreshed my feed so I could not find the post to respond with facts. I can imagine that will be the norm going forward.

@Gargron When overwhelmed with BS during the first Trump administration, I went silent for months, but realized that I was missing out on talking and connecting with my friends. I used FB in December to arrange a meet with a HS classmate in the Caribbean that I hadn't seen for years. FB is where my people are and many if not most won't leave. I don't like what they are doing, and will have to find ways to mitigate or ignore the BS.

@Gargron My FB account is where I connect with my friends. I have countered misinformation posts from people I know and push those folks into silence or divesting me from their account.

@Gargron I'm a pretty old dude in my mid 60's. When Musk bought Twitter, I deleted my account as I used it mostly for news. Never had a Threads account, I have an Instagram account, I don't know why, I never use it. Most of the incoming messages come from my wife. I just checked I have 125 posts and around 300 Followers (mostly old friends, neighbors and classmates from around the country/world) since I joined maybe 10 or 15 years ago. Never had or use WhatsApp.
