In Scotland right to buy has already been abolished, no reason why England couldn't do likewise. Or abolish the discount so sale is at market value.
Problem isn't greenbelts, it's the vast amount of land held by a few very wealthy people.
Bring in a general "use it or lose it" law on unused properties: no practical use for X years, it gets auctioned no reserve by LA (who get an agents fee) & net price to owner.

According to the Palestinian Journalists Syndicate, 67 journalists and media workers have been killed since October 7.
