To no-one surprise the rich are getting richer... while the rest of us suffer a continuing #Costoflivingcrisis.

Here's #Bloomberg's top twenty #Billionaires, so rather than hating the 1% in general you can put a name to the people who have enriched themselves from our suffering (in one way or another) in 2023.

And lets not get started on their contribution to the #climatecrisis....

The only dangerous minority is the rich....

How will you flex the radical imagination in the coming year?

#BlackLivesMatter memorial garden in #Seattle destroyed by city today - officials trying to wash away all memory of the rebellion and attempts by people to engage in self-organization and direct action in the face of state violence and capitalist crisis.

"…a lot of people have been disabled in quite a short period of time. I just think there is a general lack of empathy. If you've lived a healthy life, you can't imagine your life suddenly being put on pause or stopped. And I'm trying to make that clear to people by saying, 'Take your friendships, take your social life, take all things you love, and remove that. Now what do you do?."

Bring in a general "use it or lose it" law on unused properties: no practical use for X years, it gets auctioned no reserve by LA (who get an agents fee) & net price to owner.

Sorry I didn’t finish this thread. It’s too depressing to list off all the ways the #Biden administration is being a hypocritical failure when it comes to dealing with the #Covid #pandemic that they want to pretend is over.

Is this how satire dies? When the satirists just can’t do it anymore? When they realize everyone who will even listen has heard what they need to hear?

It has been many months
since the WHO declared
the global health emergency
to be over
but it has only been days
since the WHO noted
that global cases had surged
by 52% in a month
so whoever you may be
there is no shame
in admitting you were wrong
and that the emergency continues.
