First thing I've been able to knit in almost 2 years.
12's reaction is the ideal of reactions to a handmade gift and my heart is full. He's been wearing it since I finished it Tuesday.

Okay, we didn't technically make her but we did raise her from a larva during an extra cold fall season, protect her from the mighty hunter that is our cat and release her the moment she was ready.

Random idea while taking a break from raking the yard on Saturday.
Longleaf pine needles from the neighbor's tree and hemp twine from the box of beading stuff.
Next one will be made with reeds and have a handle for riding.

Trying to save my sanity has high points.
Saw someone wearing hank of yarn earrings (purchased at a fiber festival) and knew what my wardrobe needed. Made these yesterday.
