This #FollowFriday tip is a chance to reset. It's long been known that a follow-for-follow strategy is ill-conceived, so don't do it. Follow who you feel would enrich your experience (on ANY platform). Adding people willy-nilly doesn't work for anybody. Inflating numbers might impress marketers, but not your peers. That's as arbitrary a value as a so-called paid bluecheck. Someone with 10 followers could benefit you more than someone with 10,000. #Mastodon
