I like following the stone walls through our property and beyond. I have no idea who built them and why. In my rural town (est. 40 sq mi) there are hundreds of miles of old stone walls. The amount of labor involved is just incredible! On my southern boarder wall, an interesting transition happens. The wall stops at a ledge then is continued at the top of the ledge ( see pics).

Maybe he should get an Oscar trophy for acting….

I am a musician. Every time I work with a creative idea, it takes me from the daily struggles and fears. All of it transfers from me annd into the art I’m working on. My physical needs or desires disappear. I become a non-consumer, a net zero citizen. It’s a place I love to be. My finished creative attainment may be amateur or worse but it’s OK. I will always have a fond memory of the journey I took to create it.
