IA, and let’s be clear here, I’m talking #GenAI of #LLM fame… is slop with silver service. The marketing and #TechBros pressure to adopt widely is a just a ‘honey pot’ (Guess who really benefits from wide adoption). Soon the #crapGenerator will be imbedded into most processes because those who make decisions are drinking Kool-Aid and stupid as fuck. When the whole thing blows up in people’s faces, there will be human jobs galore to clean up the mess left behind. Until then >>> RESISTANCE and Truth to Power is tbe way to go IMO.

I tried looking for the most recent images of progress on the idiotic giga-construction project in the Arabian desert, that sounds as realistic as Elon Musk's Mars base.

There are a couple of "articles" from last months about "Stunning photos of the construction progress". But turns out, those are just images from February 2024. And the amount of visible progress on a single futuristic building that is going to house 9 million people is indeed "stunning", in some sense of the word.
