@annmlipton interesting word “cesspool “ being used to describe X/Twitter. Some years ago, a neighbor was supporting the Disney board as they seriously considered acquiring Twitter. His recommendation against the purchase featured the term “cesspool “ more than once.
@Algot I think I know the response by some: on a recent healthcare visit, the staff expressed their desire for AI to save them time writing up after-visit notes. When I asked them about the privacy concerns around sharing detailed healthcare visit notes with an AI engine, I was met with blank stares. I doubt most practitioners understand the process or implications. So many are feeling overworked and overwhelmed that they welcome tools that appear to save time despite the risks.

This trip is beyond my wildest expectations. I feel like I’m in another world. Never seen anything like these rocky mountains. I met a thru hiker named Prospector last night who suggested I visit Spectacle Lake. I took his advice and he was right, such an amazing place! I have to come back here for more someday.
