@ChippingParva Fair point! I would totally watch a Simon Pegg and Nick Frost comedy take on it though, directed by Edgar Wright.
The #BBC's #soap #opera (#continuing #drama) #Doctors has been #axed.
Its #last #episode will #air in #December 2024.
Though I've dipped into Doctors from #time-to-time, I don't #feel #sad it's been axed.
Though it has had #some #good #actors involved, #overall the #programme felt #samey in #recent #years despite #new actors joining the #main #cast recently.

Stephen becoming a serial killer wasn't logical.
He didn't have the long-term descent into psychopathy.
(Plenty of flashbacks could've been a way of selling that.)
The Stephen plot was a dud.
I guess The Powers realised, and ended the plot sooner?
They used campness and comedy to justify the plot's end-stages but that buried the plot more, I think.
The Powers should've created an original character if they had to have another (?!) serial killer.

I like Todd and Paul as characters.
They're easily more interesting than Sean and Billy.
But Paul's dying. I think that was a mistake.
Billy should've been terminally ill instead.
But ho hum.
I'm now eager for Paul's death arc to have finished.
