Hm … I once played a Bloodborne-style #FitD that was designed for one-shots. It was called #Bloodstone and I assume none of you has heard of it, so that qualifies as obscure.
I kinda liked it, but I think we got an important rule wrong. (The rules were a bit complicated for a one-shot system.)

[29] I remember an encounter that was part of the #Simyala campaign for #TheDarkEye , where each player character met their own evil doppelgänger. I had given a lot of thought to the doppelgängers, and four of five players were really excited about their personal encounter. Everybody found their own way to deal with the doppelgängers – whether it was by killing or by forgiving them.
I think I did a good job as a GM that day.

[28] I seriously don’t know. Scary? I don’t like the horror genre very much.
Of course, I’ve played some Cthulhu one-shots etc. but they never had that much impact on me, because I knew I would probably lose the character in a horrific way, so I didn’t emotionally invest in them too much. Felt safer.

[26] I like my character sheets pretty and digital. I think playbooks are my favourite, because you need nothing else to play – just your playbook.
So … let you introduce you to this sweet nightmare of a character sheet that is NOTHING of the sort! Because that’s how we played #TheDarkEye 4.1, and we loved it.

[25] Unplayed RPG I own … errrr, that’s more than one.
Let’s pick one: "The Thief and the Necromancer" is a game for two players and two GMs.
The constant of the game are the two player characters – the thief and the necromancer, who are besties – and you invite friends to GM for you spontaneously. Next time, you can invite other GMs.
I haven’t found the right people or the right occasion for it yet, but the day will come. ; )

[24] One of the simplest RPG I ever played was "Don’t walk in Winter Wood".
You have no stats – just a name, a role and a motivation to go into the Winter Wood, even though you have been warned about it for your whole life. When you enter the wood, you get your first cold marker and one more every time you encounter something terrible.
And with every cold marker you accumulate, it gets harder to succeed…

[23] Coolest looking RPG book … so, today is #MörkBorg day, right? I never played it nor am I especially interested, but it’s the first to come to mind. Great #coffeetable RPG.
But actually … most RPG books I own are beautiful. If they were not; I wouldn’t have bought a physical copy.
