@Lightfighter here it is April2024 and I see your post. Serving in the military is not a bad thing and you need not to be hyper patriotic. I bet you learned a lot and it shaped you. Hopefully you are doing well now. BTW. I worked at Ft. Campbell Library 86-89 and supplied many country studies to troops before they deployed. Always thought it is good that they read up on the area before going. Wish you all the best!
