About us :: Mariana de Freitas
Mariana de Freitas is a project manager at BioData.pt and Node Coordinator for ELIXIR Portugal. She holds a MSc in Business Administration and Innovation in Healthcare from Copenhagen Business School and a BSc in Economics from Nova School of Business and Economics. Since graduating, she has worked in the life sciences industry both for industry stakeholders such as Roche Diagnostics and research infrastructures like BioData.pt.
GHGA has taken a major step towards FAIRer sharing of human omics data in Germany. After completion of our first release candidate in January, and an extensive testing period, we are proud to launch the GHGA Archive phase of the GHGA Data Portal.
New features allow users to securely access data stored within GHGA Data Portal through a fully integrated data access management system, also implementing two-factor authentication.

We are seeking a #Data Steward with a bioinformatics background to operate data management within GHGA and the new model project genome sequencing. Key responsibilities include moderating daily activities on the data portal, optimising operation protocols, and guiding product development with user feedback.

From July 3 to July 9, we held the S2M2 - Summer School in Metabolic Modelling online, and it was a great success! 🌐
