Also, I did end up getting a new car yesterday - 2023 Nissan Altima SR. It's a lease (3 year/30k miles) with the option to buy at the end for very favorable terms. The numbers make me a bit nervous as the year goes on (I've got a short term job that'll cover the car payment for the next 9 months) but maybe that's the motivation I need to get serious about my writing again.

After some feedback from guests who could potentially become housemates, I've re-configured my wall-mounted tablet that lives in my upstairs hallway.

It still may need some tweaking (I've solicited MORE feedback!) but I think it's in good general shape at this point.

Making steady progress on my @homeassistant #HomeAssistant "health" dashboard.

I've figured out ways to display everything that I've thought of (so far!) and a way to input the nutrition stats that I'm interested in tracking.

Still working out a way to automate completing the medication tasks repeatedly (they're in Todoist). I got a tip on how to do it once, but...yeah.

the new front door tablet view (again, for now!) ... the radar is blacked out due to an abundance of caution. Other weather info (percip % etc) in the middle. Pollutant/allergy stuff on the end. "missing" (really, invisible) is the "time to destination" cards, which will only show when the event shows up on my calendar.

probably still needs tweaking.
