I haven’t posted anything for my friends and family to see yet, but today we said goodbye to our family dog Molly. She was an amazing dog and this is so incredibly hard.

One of the best (non-fluffy) writing tips I can share is to always write down the ideas that pop into your head. Even if it’s 4 am and you’re half asleep, grab your phone/laptop/pen/paper/scroll and take that shit down. Digital assistants (Alexa, Siri, google) can help make this process more accessible too.
I’ve plotted out many story ideas in a dreamy haze only for them to slip away to the memory underworld.
