Ironic how Elon fired thousands of people from Twitter to try to save money. Texh folks who would’ve probably been in the market to buy a Tesla, and now won’t.

Str8nger@Gleng2 @citizencat I am pretty ignorant in regard to the finer points of the #fediverse other than that it’s decentralized. Do I have that correct? Is that the entire advantage? How does moderation work here?
I may not even know enough to know other important auestions to ask, but suspect that #Mastodon is still too new/small to judge whether the current sunny environment can or will remain so if scale was comparable w/ #Twitter, #Facebook, #TikTok

Influencer-turned-(alleged)-crypto-grifter Logan Paul has threatened to sue scam researcher CoffeeZilla, who has exposed Paul's "CryptoZoo" blockchain game project as his latest (alleged) scam. Paul's (alleged) scam history is not to be confused any of the other long list of (alleged) crypto scams perpetrated by his brother, Jake, which CoffeeZilla has also helped expose.After many attempts over the span of a year to contact Paul, directly and via his manager (who CoffeeZilla did speak with), Paul has claimed that CoffeeZilla made no attempts to get his side of the story. Instead of addressing any of the many well-researched claims about the flagrant (alleged) grift that Paul has been perpetrating, he has instead reacted in typical (alleged) cryptoscammer fashion: by threatening to sue CoffeeZilla.

Mastodon feels like a combination of a Spa & a coffee house chat with kind & like minded people.
