@pixelpusher220 There's people in my life that fell into MAGA that totally surprised and shocked me. Some I did a mental recount in my head to see if it was on me to have missed the signs of who they really were. I am truly baffled at some.

I'm glad I was always a skeptic in what I was reading and seeing because I always delved one or two levels in on about everything. If something shocked my conscious, I delved deeper.

Trump is suing Ann Selzer, the Iowan pollster whose poll was inaccurate. He has no legal standing to do so, but the point isn't to win. This is a concrete example of the types of lawfare that are part of autocratic decline, and it is only one of many examples from the past few weeks.

Three things commonly precede decline into a totalitarian state. 1) Crack down on journalists, researchers, civil society orgs. 2) Oligarchs align with and became synonymous with the government. Contracts are a reward for loyalty. 3) Capture of the courts and law enforcement Given enough time and complacency, there’s a clear destination for this path. It’s weird how many of your grandparents nearly died trying to escape what you’re looking dead in the eyes like “how bad could it be?”

Ukrainian businessman Firtash can't be extradited to the US, Austrian court rules

An Austrian court has ruled that Ukrainian businessman Dymitro Firtash can’t be extradited to the U.S. in a long-running legal saga that centers on a corruption case related to an alleged plan to pay bribes in India. The Vienna State Court said Tuesday evening it decided on Nov. 7 that an extradition isn’t permissible. Vienna prosecutors said they would appeal the decision, and have until Dec. 16 to do so. Firtash faces a U.S. indictment accusing him of a conspiracy to pay bribes in India to mine titanium, which is used in jet engines. He denies any wrongdoing.

Australia generates such a massive amount of power from solar ...

... i.e. frequently in oversupply -- cranking out more juice than the cities can use ...

... that it is moving on to the next challenge: How to configure the grid, and its use of other forms of baseload generation, to keep things stable

I think we have a true bipartisanship moment in the country. Many people across all political spectrums, all walks of life, all economic statuses, seem to agree that healthcare CEO's get what they deserve with all the dark and #gallowsHumor and stories about their horrible health insurance experiences.

Those reactions are now being analyzed by the same people that made a cottage industry of analyzing American elections in a manner to keep the analyzation of American politics a thriving business, and once again, with all their judgement on their holier than thou soapbox's.

Happy Thursday. ❤️

Too many dumbasses missed the trump reality tv style drama of presidenting via tweet.

Biden & Kamala’s leadership was so boringly competent the msm didn't even cover 99% of it.

Trump will 100% take credit for all of it.
