Hello all❤️ I am so sorry for all the issues on mstdn.social the past days.. 
Two nights ago over 11K new people joined mstdn.social via invite links while I was asleep and this made the total active people on here to 53K.
The current issue / battle I'm fighting is to keep up with the background jobs for proccessing toots, follows, etc etc.
Please know that I'm doing my best. I've also setup an extra instance to spread the load a little on https://masto.ai 
It started on Twitter and will end on Twitter, please, support this awesome and wonderful project by @[email protected] and share the heck out of it. Keep an eye out for it and mark it in your calendar, January '23 the fun begins.

It's actually pretty amazing that a open source product developed by a tiny non-profit, running on a network of servers self-funded by volunteer administrator and moderators has managed to absorb some portion of one of the world's largest for-profit social networks.
It's a miracle the whole thing didn't collapse or catch fire.
