While we might want to dismiss what we’re seeing as “crazy,” I suggest we take it seriously and monitor it closely.
As we saw with Trumpism, people—by which I mean human beings regardless of political views—are drawn to spectacle.

Tibor came to Norway as a refugee in October 1939. He and his younger sister Vera were two of 37 Jewish children aged 6-13 sent from occupied Czechoslovakia to Norway thanks to Nansen Relief.
Tibor and Vera were deported to Auschwitz on 25 February 1943. He was selected as able to work. He asked to stay with his younger sister. They were both murdered in a gas chamber.
