@nixCraft so ChatGPT doesn't search internet to get up to date info? It's using whatever historical data from when it was trained?. Awesomer and awesomer.
I always refer to it as a search engine, but it seems like it's just a static wiki.
I second the motion - snitch on it to the feds.
@b3lt3r @nixCraft the only real way to keep these things up to date is to train them continually. I believe there's a little bit of that going on, but it's little enough for it to be significantly behind in many aspects.
This is one reason why you should never listen to someone who says "if you ignore the training costs, company Y is profitable"
Huh, even an ocean-drinking, climate destroying clock is right twice a day I guess.
Don't we call this gaslighting?
@nixCraft So someone more ethical should've bought 40% of wafer board tech?
Poor Tech Bros. Guess they'll have to surrender their luxury bunkers.
@nixCraft (s)he’s using an AI instead of his/her brain, which causes more capacity demand for AI, which causes the AI price to further soar! 🤣🤣🤣😢😢😡
Don’t know whether to be angry or sad… it’s not funny anymore.
@nixCraft
User: *enters current RAM prices*
ChatGPT: Call police!
User: *contemplates suicide*
ChatGPT: just do it!
I like that it has no idea why ram prices are high. It just cruises along leaving a path of destruction, and when it looks back, it says "Wow! Who caused that mess?!" :^D
Should tell it to investigate the prices. It would be like Tuvok investigating the Maquis attacks in Repression :^P
I mean, yeah, these RAM prices are a damn crime, but I don't think the police can help with this one. 👮
Many LLM models are not that update. That one is at least one year behind (if not more).
