@nixCraft so ChatGPT doesn't search internet to get up to date info? It's using whatever historical data from when it was trained?. Awesomer and awesomer.

I always refer to it as a search engine, but it seems like it's just a static wiki.

I second the motion - snitch on it to the feds.

@b3lt3r @nixCraft the only real way to keep these things up to date is to train them continually. I believe there's a little bit of that going on, but it's little enough for it to be significantly behind in many aspects.

This is one reason why you should never listen to someone who says "if you ignore the training costs, company Y is profitable"
