I love the Ctrl+Shift+B block selection mode of the #KDE / #Plasma #Kate editor! 🥰👍

👉 You can type on multiple lines!

 Ctrl+Shift lets you copy blocks from the terminal

👉 enable Kate block mode via key combo
👉 select the affected block, which can be of a width of 0 characters
👉 start typing

😏 remember to disable block mode

This is how i make my manual #ZFS garbage collection more efficient. And no, i'll not automate this - my #HomeLab #Linux server is a _pet_, not cattle! 🤓

🧵 these proper video transport controls are presented by a most frugal but present silent audio track.

This is how i've stopped being annoyed by Mastodon's misrepresentation of MP4/video as a "GIF" - afaik, #Mastodon is still figuring out how to pronounce GIF. 😉
