So you just added the "Jhon" signature at the bottom right? And did not create the rest of the meme?
I thought for more than 3 1/2yrs that the NON-cropped version you posted with the artist's signature was the ORIGINAL one, also because the picture is much sharper than the other ones.
The handle of the one who made the main part (replacing the dog with the Mastodon mascot) must be one of the longest unsolved mysteries on the #Fediverse. I tried to figure it out last year, but to no avail. It's also one of my most favorite Fediverse memes.
Edit: From what the other replies to this whole thread indicate, then @TheAtheistAlien must be the original artist who put in the Mastodon mascot. Unfortunately, it looks like they is not longer around here, last post is from Jan 2023 and makes one worry, hope all is fine with them 🙏

Oyu F'ka@viennawriter Just use it - it doesn't seem to have a source, and the originator probably wouldn't be concerned about your using it - whoever it was, posted it freely, so I'm assuming it was intended to be reused...unless of course, you just want to include a credit for the original? (which looks to be impossible considering the various searches listed.).
