@nuintari There's no support for ZFS for a number of reasons, technical and cultural.
CDDL isn't compatible with OpenBSD's copyright policy.
OpenBSD has no loadable kernel modules, so it would mean including ZFS in the GENERIC kernel..
ZFS is not just a filesystem, it includes a volume manager and sizable chunk of Solaris code into the BSD kernel.
Naturally there's some aversion to doing that. But more importantly, there's a lack of developers interested in porting filesystems. It's a massive project to take on.. and not one likely to ever be suitable for inclusion into base.
