It's true. Let me 'splain it to you
@cmconseils oh my god, I love this picture so much. the looks on the faces of the listeners - from "bored" to "resigned " to "barely holding her tongue" - is just perfect.
I have to wonder if whoever created and used this picture set it up purposely like that.
@cmconseils i wonder what he's saying is "this big"
I hope it's a fish he once caught, no one seems very enthusiastic about it.
Lucille Ball was a successful media mogul back in the day be cause she was the one who did the explaining.
"I pull out my robe and pointy wizard hat..."
well.... actually...
Well actually, it's a-oh... Yeah it's a wall. I'll see myself out.

But its Adelaide. Im sure its just a prison school program!
@cmconseils lol ... I love it.
I work in higher ed marketing and while our campus photographer is very good we've been in this situation SO MANY times.
@cmconseils is that still there?
Adelaide uni just rebranded so I hoped they got rid of that one.
@muddle @cmconseils I suppose one could say that the alt text isn't so much incorrect, just incomplete, as the fifth woman is not standing but sitting.
I'm not even certain myself what the level of irony is that I'm trying to convey with this answer.
I reckon, it's a woman looking out of the window about three metres behind him.
@mina Oh, yes, you're right. Another woman in the background... 😓
Can you blame her? She got tired and is quietly sharpening her dagger.
Just in case.
@mina Very interesting hypothesis... I was wondering why so many women in the background and a proud man in the foreground, as if he were giving them part of his ancient wisdom. Even there's a black woman portrayed in a very different way to the other white women. Everything's quite odd.

Sounds about right. And the "audience" has a wild (but appropriate) range of expressions between worry, boredom, consternation, exasperation, irritation, concern and sadness. I think this actually makes a good point about mansplaining...
Years ago I worked across the hallway from the marketing team that created this. There were many ads that were much worse. This was very public on the corner on North Terrace in the city.
It was the gender split in the department.
So maybe it is a documentary.
Mocumentary?
The woman in the black jacket was used in a lot of their glossy material. Got to have some ethnic diversity ;)
